Approximately one month ago, I brought in my Elantra for routine oil change. No other issues. After picking up my car, three days later the car alarm began randomly going off. No pattern, night and day, but only about every three or four days. I called service and spoke with a customer service person and relayed my story of how it began after my oil change. I was told I needed to leave my car alone so service could investigate, but I couldn't do that because I work in Olympia. The person was not even willing to problem solve with me. I asked for Bryce. He said "come by and i'll take a look." I did so and he discovered that the hood sensor was loose, probably knocked askew during the oil change. Bryce listened to me, problem solved. He reconnected the sensor and the alarm was never set off again!
